Missiles Hit Tokyo & Seattle
so lets say some of those stupid missiles from n. korea somehow land on vacant schools in downtown tokyo & seattle what would the response of japan and the united states be?
would they declare war against north korea? would japan and the united states react..........?
they most certainly would.
now lets turn the tables a little, missiles are falling on israel from a palestinian enclave, one in which the palestinians have national powers such as being able to elect their own govt and their own security forces.
never mind that the palestinians elected a govt that has not only sworn it wants to wipe israel out, never mind that it openly condones and congratulates the killing and kidnapping of israeli soldiers,
we in israel should simply be grateful that we haven't been killed sooner, because that is after all what jews are supposed to do...........give up and die.
time once again for israel to kick ass and do it now, not just a simple kicking of the ass, but one in which it makes sure the punks cannot walk again.

Yes, Japan would indeed like to retaliate but cannot. In fact, it has been over a week and nothing has been done about N. Korea; and I doubt anything will be done. Japan is unable to do anything and the US is unwilling to do anything (not to mention China and Russia). In truth, the Japanese can only be grateful that they have not been killed sooner. In regards to kidnappings, this has been a constant and very serious issue for Japan vis-à-vis N. Korea. N. Korea is notorious for kidnapping Japanese for language and social intelligence. Unfortunately the Japanese government has been inept at somehow addressing this problem. No doubt N. Korea will fire more missile and both the Japanese and US government will still do nothing. Sooner than later, and by some fluke of luck, that maniac just might hit his target – Japan. In truth, N. Korea would never hit the US (intentionally or accidentally) because the retaliation would not only be guaranteed but also great. N. Korea, however, would intentionally or accidentally hit Japan because there would be no retaliation but rather just a lot of rhetoric and putting off of votes to do something about the problem. Furthermore, the US and a significant number of US citizens stand as committed partners with Israel. As such the US has refused to negotiate with that terrorist country, Palestine, and has cutoff US foreign aide –with overwhelming approval of US citizens. However, the US has agreed to discussions with N. Korea and continues its foreign aide to N. Korea, one of the Axis of Evil counties named in the 2002 State of the Union address. Such an action, albeit diplomatic, only further discourages the Japanese and questions the sincerity of foreign relations between the US and Japan. Finally, although there is heavy debate in regards to the US-Israel foreign policy – at least there is debate and an understanding that the US needs to [somehow] continue supporting Israel. With such a foundation, the US citizenry lobby for actions to be taken that support Israel; even though Israel has a very strong military and is able to protect itself. However, most US citizens do not understand what foreign policy the US should have with Japan other than purely economic. However, Japan is unable to protect itself – it has no military despite repeated requests to the US to be allowed to invest more of its GDP into the build up of a Japanese military. Indeed, Japan remains a puppet of the US and will continue at the mercy of the US to support its foreign policy relations with N. Korea. Truly, the Japanese can only be grateful that they have not been killed sooner.

thks for writing. i believe japan and israel suffer from an interesting and similar dynamic.
they are both quite capable of protecting themselves but due to political pressure and the history that they both 'suffer' from they tend to let political correctness serve as the welcome matt for most endeavors - this when both countries would be wise to look at other avenues.
in japan's case, i believe they are actually in the most dangerous circumstance, because neither china nor russia can be counter on anything but crocidile tears of concern.
as a matter of fact, i believe russia and china both like that n. korea is driving both japan and the states crazy.
n. korea in this instance acts as a wild card that will probably not haunt the russians or chinese to a high degree.
even s. korea probably gets a kick out of watching the japanese squirm under this dynamic.
certainly the history of these countries is effecting sentiment now, no one is going to publically say that they are happy japan is under duress but psychologically it MUST be there.
having said that, the only way japan would get hit by this lunatic is if one of his cherished missiles misfires.
i believe if this were to happen there would be a response from japan and the states. and then it would be up to the chinese to react - would they?
i don't think so.........this because the chinese have their own interest to worry about.
the chinese can do the math, they know via population growth, economic growth, and inward expansion that they are going to be able to continue to build a strong country for the next 50 years......they do not want to put that at risk.
thus n. korea is a joke, a bad pimple, but one that eventually will implode on itself if given the proper medication.
if the japanese and americans had the balls ( and maybe they do), they would attack the n. korean machine from within covertly.
i have to imagine that the s. koreans have the ability to put people in places in which they could cause the n. koreans serious harm.
now getting back to the original point, about israel and japan being in the same boat.
it is largely because they both rely on their political alliances with the states in large measure.
while that is a good thing in most respects, it can leave you feeling high and dry sometimes. this because if the master says to stay in the room without dinner, sometimes it is impossible to disobey.
both japan and israel need the states, but so to, the states needs both japan and israel.
as much as the eu speaks about unity and asian countries speak about a new giant polar some things historically will always help DIS-UNITY more.
the states are helped to keep ahead politically because of this.........japan is not about to become best buddies with china, nor south korea, nor indonesia and day soon.
nor is israel about to become best buddies with egypt, jordan, or lebanon.
the brits will never fully trust the french or german govts.
thing about it is that this creates an interesting scenario in which certain countries who politically have natural and historical conflicts with others in their spheres.......ALSO have the desire to keep certain allies dotted through out the world....
thus even though nobody is about to make anything official i believe you could safely say that:
israel
japan
the states
britain
italy
india
australia
turkey
have unique similarities between them which in times of crisis will lead to sharing the same bed every once in a while.
almost sounds like a worthy orgy to me.
