On Rabbis Being Stupid

the above article is about reformed rabbis and their cohorts from many lands issuing a declaration that it is wrong of israel to demolish homes and is against the tenets of israel's founding fathers in the 1940's.
really? how stupid are these rabbis?
is it wrong to protect a jewish life? is it wrong to demolish a house that may very well be a place where a sniper has been shooting from or is knowingly booby trapped?
the opinion (and that is all it really is in the reality of things) issued by the rabbis is that demolishing the homes are immoral.
yet in the most recent idf activity when they largely destroyed many homes in gaza they uncovered at least two functioning smuggling tunnels from egypt and into the homes within gaza.
while the reformed rabbis are keen to make sure the western world knows that jews are not evil, they are also apparently very concerned on trying to make sure the image of the jew is looked upon with favor by a western culture that is more comfortable looking good apparently rather than staying alive.
which looks worse, a demolished house in gaza or a bus blown up by a bomb in jerusalem with 20 murdered and wrecked bodies strewn on the street?
is it more important to save the life of israelis civilians and soldiers than it is to save a palestinians home which may be used in which to conduct a war.
and let me remind all who question it, it is a war. war isnt about looking good, it is about surviving and winning it. if you are more concerned with looking good to those around you and have the luck to live in israel you should probably plan your funeral.
innocents suffer during a war, people who have done nothing wrong are sometimes victims.
does anyone really think israelis enjoy demolishing palestinian homes? do you think israelis view it as a sport? what do israelis gain by demolishing the homes of palestinians besides saving the lifes of its citizens?
while the reformed rabbis and their assoiciates offer their opinions to the world they unknowingly lay the ground work for more jews to die in israel either ignorantly or in the false assumption that it some how matters that a good image is better than the reality on the ground.
