New Blood, Old Reasons
once again, today's victims of the bombings in iraq and turkey have largely killed muslims. thus we must remember that though we constantly write about our lives in the west being at risk that the biggest populations that face terrorism day in and out are the muslim populations in the middle east and central asia.
also we must remember that it proves that what these groups are after is not merely american, israeli, or western blood, what they want is to rule their societies in some nationalistic/religious utopian way in which they are the supreme rulers. if we let that come to pass like we let the taliban take over afghanistan we will watch populations be killed, tortured, and the peoples rights largely taken away.
does the above solve anything? no, but it is an important lesson in knowing what the world is up against. as i have said, until the leaders of muslim populations, govts, institutions of our world stop giving their populations reason to rebel the world will not see a peaceful day.
